In 1534, the opponent of the Reformation, Poul Helgesen, interrupted his Skibby Chronicle in the middle of the sentence "While this was going on..." This unfinished sentence was written in the middle of the Count's feud, abruptly and unfinished. This is how the book  was found in the year 1650. Walled inside the wall of Skibby Church.  No one knows how it ended up there, or why…

 

The Skibby Chronicle is a wandering performance about a meeting between a man from the Reformation and a woman from today, a story about courage, integrity and battles you cannot win.
